About the Role
As Senior External Returns Analyst (Projects), you’ll collaborate with the External Returns Manager and the External Return TRAC & Benchmarking Analyst, reporting directly to the Director of Strategic Planning & Insights.
This newly created role recognizes the importance of embedding statutory return requirements within the University’s student record system (SITS) as part of institutional development. You’ll also play a key role in enhancing data quality processes and reporting in partnership with colleagues across Student Academic Services. Your work will be pivotal in ensuring the University meets its regulatory obligations and submits accurate reports on time.
Candidate Requirements
You must hold a degree or equivalent qualification and demonstrate extensive experience in processing and submitting statutory returns within the UK Higher Education sector. You’ll bring strong collaborative skills, applying your expertise in the UK HE environment to optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading from complex databases.

Working Arrangements
We support flexible working wherever possible, and this role includes a blend of home and office working. You’ll split your time fairly evenly between on-campus and remote work.
