We invite a skilled professional to become a pivotal member of our new Grant Processes and Operations team by assuming the role of Senior Grants Processes Manager.
About the Role:
The Senior Grants Processes Manager will play a key role within our Grant Processes and Operations team, which has been established to refine the grant making and management functions of the Academy. This position involves a deep comprehension of our current procedures and the proactive initiation and supervision of enhancement projects. As the manager, you will oversee the usage policies and processes related to our Grant Management System (GMS), guaranteeing uniform execution, as well as conducting training and promoting best practices among Programme Managers, Officers, and others engaged in our grant-making activities. Additionally, you will spearhead advancements in our processes and policies concerning various aspects, including review and panel decisions, monitoring, evaluation, reporting, inclusivity, data handling, and retention. You will be influential in centralizing certain grant management tasks and potentially steering their execution, all while shaping the future course of our grant management standards and practices.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The Academy seeks an individual with extensive experience in grant management processes and project management skills, particularly concerning the enhancement of grant management procedures or IT systems. The candidate should possess a robust understanding of best practices in grant management, coupled with strong analytical abilities focused on process comprehension and improvement.
