Job Description:
We would like to remind former applicants that reapplication is not necessary.
Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust takes pride in being a leading institution for mental health education on a global scale, supported by the Office for Students. We educate over 4,000 students through more than 100 courses, ranging up to postgraduate and doctoral levels, in partnership with universities. Our clinician-tutor model and interdisciplinary methodology equip a diverse group of professionals for excellence in their fields.

Our Directorate of Education and Training has set high aspirations to grow our student base, diversify our program offerings, and extend our influence. To realize these objectives, we need robust professional support for our students and staff. We are now seeking a capable Returns, Planning & Insight Manager to guide the Division, offering insights for our educational endeavors, and leading statutory student reporting efforts through our affiliated university.

Key Responsibilities:

– Undertake regulatory reporting responsibilities to University Partners and the Office for Students (OfS), focusing on HESA and HESES, assuring data quality through cleansing, addressing queries, and production.
– Support the development and management of validation and exception reports, employing SQL and Power BI, to maintain data integrity during the academic cycle.
– Stay informed on changes in statutory reporting, participate in relevant sector events, and assist in the adaptation of new reporting requirements.
– Collaborate with the Head of Academic Registry and the Finance Manager to communicate changes, create training, and conduct workshops.
– Utilize student data systems within the Trust, developing and implementing management BI dashboards that align with strategic goals, KPIs, and other benchmarks.

Our Organization:
You’ll be welcomed by our proactive team in Belsize Park (Hampstead), northwest London. Our hybrid work arrangement ensures flexibility, with 2-3 days expected in the office per week. We are devoted to fostering an inclusive environment for our diverse body of students and managing all facets of their academic experience, from enrollment to graduation. We operate via shared expertise in a synergistic, supportive setting.

This opportunity is perfect for someone with prior Higher Education experience, especially in Statutory Returns. Necessary skills include strong organization, communication, and the ability to juggle priorities within a collaborative team. If you’re driven, adept, and eager to make a mark with a leading mental health educational entity, we invite you to apply.
