Responsibilities of the role encompass full-stack development, requiring proficiency in Typescript and expertise in both front and back-end development, including the design and maintenance of RESTful APIs, web client programming, and the implementation of automated testing and continuous integration (CI) workflows. The role will extend to incorporate a DevOps approach, thus, familiarity with automation tools, such as Ansible, as well as experience with cloud infrastructure, is highly advantageous. The candidate should also possess broad programming proficiency (with added benefit for experience in Python or PHP), and a strong understanding of relational databases like Postgres or MySQL.
The position comes with a competitive salary and access to the University’s extensive package of employee benefits, which includes various discounts, health coverage, financial services, and public transport subsidies as well as pension schemes and tax-efficient options for bicycles, car leasing, and charity contributions.
