Our SITS Teams are in charge of designing, building, testing, and supporting the University’s SITS configurations, with separate teams dedicated to development, testing, and first-line support of the SITS solution. This role offers flexibility with a primarily remote work setup and involves working with SITS and related technologies in a cloud environment. As a Solution Developer, you’ll design and build solutions based on the business requirements. You’ll be joining a mid-sized professional team focused on transforming the digital student journey through SITS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with service owners, business analysts, and technical staff to help design SITS services.
- Operate at a detailed technical level across IT and other departments to ensure business requirements are understood and met.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure service designs achieve expected benefits.
- Guide junior staff in delivering SITS components and resolving issues.
- Produce clear documentation to support underlying configurations and developments.
As a Solution Developer, you will:
- Have proven experience in SITS development.
- Create specifications and technical documentation based on business requirements.
- Recommend the best methods to provide functionality within the SITS toolset and develop configurations to meet specifications.
- Oversee projects from conception to delivery and support, effectively communicating technical information to non-technical users.
- Meet high standards in coding solutions while adhering to business deadlines.
- Utilize rapid prototyping to maximize benefit and encourage continuous improvement and innovation.
- Release in accordance with deployment strategies.
- Plan and lead complex work logically and methodically.
- Be a team player, willing to both lead and follow.
- Exhibit confidence and positivity, holding a degree or professional qualification.
- Seek to add value and continuously improve processes.
