Space and Data Manager – Estates Services

The University of the West of Scotland (UWS) is seeking an experienced and skilled Space and Data Manager to join our Estates Services team. This exciting role involves overseeing the management, accuracy, quality, and availability of space-related data across all UWS campuses. Responsibilities include maintaining and updating the Digital Twin Revit model to support estate planning, reporting, and property optimization. The successful candidate will also lead efforts to design and plan space configurations and alternative uses of estate spaces.

You will proactively develop and maintain an up-to-date database of property and space-related information to support sustainable growth, cultural transformation, and innovative solutions across UWS’s estate. The role requires a motivated, autonomous individual capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt quickly and ensure the delivery of value-driven solutions to UWS.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree-level qualification in architecture, building surveying, interior design, or another relevant discipline.
  • Proven experience in data analysis and management.
  • Proficiency in managing multi-disciplinary teams and external contractors.
  • Knowledge of property-related software such as EMR, Trac, CAD, and building Revit models.
  • Strong planning, reporting, and presentation skills.
