The incumbent will spearhead the university’s collaboration with the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) and manage the process of compiling and submitting the University’s Data Futures statutory reports to HESA, ensuring timely mid-year and end-of-year submissions.

Key responsibilities include leading the submission process for:
– The University’s HESA Student (Data Futures) reports, to maintain consistent and routine submissions of required data.
– The Scottish Funding Council (SFC) initial statistics and comprehensive final figures reports.
The role requires engaging in professional and expert discourse at both internal and external assemblies, encouraging varied perspectives, and persuading and negotiating with senior partners to attain university objectives.
