This position is based at our renowned UCFB Wembley campus, located within the iconic Wembley Stadium—an inspiring setting that overlooks the famous turf, delivering a truly unique and motivational work environment for staff and students.

UCFB is seeking to appoint a Study Skills Advisor who will leverage their knowledge and expertise to deliver tailored academic and study skills programmes to support our vibrant student community. The advisor will collaborate with academic teams and Library staff to identify areas of improvement and ensure students receive the tools needed to excel in their studies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other Study Skills Advisors, academic teams, and Library staff across all UCFB campuses to deliver effective academic and study skills programmes tailored to students’ needs.
  • Work closely with the Head of Department, Deputy Dean Learning & Development, and Academic Leads to develop and implement a comprehensive academic and study skills curriculum.
  • Provide expert advice to academic teams during course and programme development events, and contribute to short-, mid-, and long-term projects aimed at improving students’ core academic skills.
  • Participate in key institutional events such as open days, outreach initiatives, enrolment processes, inductions, workshops, and drop-in sessions to support students’ academic journeys.
  • Actively promote academic and study skills services to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring visibility and access to resources.
