Starting salary starting at £38,784 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, with annual increments rising to £46,049 per annum.
An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Technical Lead – IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance Analyst to join the ITCS Cyber Security team.
In this pivotal role, you will take charge of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) activities, ensuring alignment with key laws, regulations, and standards such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, NHS DSPT, and CE/CE . Your work will involve developing and maintaining security policies, procedures, and risk management frameworks, as well as supporting audits, assessments, and compliance reporting obligations.
You will be tasked with implementing and evaluating security measures spanning physical, procedural, technical, and legal domains, embedding secure-by-design principles throughout system lifecycles. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams—including departments such as legal, infrastructure, audit, and software engineering—you will play a key role in fostering a culture of risk awareness and information assurance.
Additionally, you will conduct risk assessments, aid system accreditation efforts, and ensure the effectiveness of cryptographic and technical controls to safeguard data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
