Position: Timetabler at BIMM University – Campus and Technical Services Division

Job Overview:
As a Timetabler, your primary duty is the creation and maintenance of the academic schedule at our campus. This entails a harmonious blend of room usage, teaching plans, and student engagement. This pivotal role backs the educational framework of BIMM University and necessitates a proactive approach and meticulous attention to detail.

Your Responsibilities:

– Collaborative Efforts: Work intimately with both on-campus and centralized academic teams to produce a timetable that meets their unique needs and preferences.
– Facility Oversight: Regularly update facilities information to facilitate efficient room assignments and usage.
– Resource Management: Handle every aspect of resource allocation, encompassing spaces, venues, and faculty, while adeptly handling any conflicts that may arise.
– Timetable Personalization: Make certain that each student receives a personalized timetable without delay.
– Tracking & Documentation: Record and uphold precise scheduling data using our central system, CELCAT.
– Problem-Solving: Tackle and rectify any issues connected to timetabling, such as rearranging class schedules and organizing cover for lecturers.
– Scheduling Coordination: Align with the Building and Technical Team to streamline the booking of resources and spaces by students.
– Examination Organization: Facilitate the scheduling of examinations and assessments.

Your Qualifications:

– Significant prior experience in a senior administrative role or similar, preferably involving intricate resource allocation.
– A high degree of accuracy and meticulousness in all timetabling matters.
– Autonomous working capability with a knack for making well-informed choices.
– Adaptability within a high-velocity setting with stringent timelines.
– A systematic, reasoned approach to planning and troubleshooting.
– Excellent communication and team-collaboration skills to maintain synergy across different departments.
– Proficient IT knowledge for handling scheduling software and platforms.
