Your Role and Impact
As our Video Editor, you will be at the heart of our creative engine, curating and editing video content that speaks directly to our audience. Partnering with our experienced Videographer, you will bring our brand to life, delivering visually stunning content that fuels our social media and marketing strategy while amplifying our mission.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with our Marketing Team and Social Media Strategist to design and execute a cohesive video content strategy centered around our brand identity and business goals.
- Dynamic Editing: Edit and craft high-quality video content for diverse platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok, aligned with our social media strategy.
- Brand Cohesion: Work closely with videographers and graphic designers to ensure consistency of visual style and storytelling across all video material.
- Increased Accessibility: Edit and enhance videos with professional captions and subtitles, ensuring an inclusive and polished viewer experience.
- Audience Engagement: Support the Video Production Team in creating interactive content that connects meaningfully with our audience, responding to comments and fostering engagement.
Your Skills and Expertise
- Proven experience as a Video Editor (experience in the education or entrepreneurial sectors is a plus!) with a portfolio showcasing your creative and technical skills.
- Exceptional editing abilities, with a sharp eye for storytelling, pacing, and detail.
- Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of video editing best practices, content creation tools, and digital marketing concepts.
- Up-to-date knowledge of emerging video trends to keep our content fresh and engaging.
- Creativity, originality, and the drive to innovate within the digital video landscape.
- Stellar organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently, with the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight timelines.
