Join Our Team as a Worktribe Consultant

Worktribe is a thriving, dynamic, and rapidly expanding SaaS company, offering a leading research and teaching platform tailored for universities.

As part of our sustained growth, we are looking to add talented Worktribe Consultants to our team. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with expertise in areas of the research landscape, such as:

  • Research outputs and open access
  • Research Excellence Framework (REF)
  • Research ethics and governance
  • Contracts, agreements, and intellectual property (IP)
  • Postgraduate research (PGR) administration
  • Research impact and reporting

Experience in designing and managing complex integrations or working with other SaaS platforms will also make you an ideal candidate.


The Opportunity

  • Role: Worktribe Consultant
  • Location: Remote-based within the UK (with monthly visits to our Bristol hub)
  • Start Date: As soon as possible

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee new customer implementations
  • Deliver engaging training sessions
  • Manage ongoing customer accounts
  • Produce detailed documentation
  • Contribute to product development proposals
  • Support all other activities associated with SaaS delivery

This position involves some travel, with an expected average of five days per month.


Your Key Responsibilities

As a Worktribe Consultant, you will:

  • Set and manage customer expectations for our systems
  • Plan and lead successful implementation projects
  • Maintain regular communication with customers, collaborating with sales, support, and development teams
  • Lead workshops, advise on best practices, and assist with data migration
  • Navigate and resolve complex challenges, working alongside product experts and developers
  • Foster strong customer relationships by delivering support, guidance, and added value
  • Assist customers in planning system upgrades
  • Deliver product demonstrations and training sessions
  • Coordinate resources to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Conduct business process reviews (BPRs)
  • Develop, refine, and maintain comprehensive documentation
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Work collaboratively to align internal workflows and achieve goals
  • Maintain compliance with ISO27001 policies
  • Manage and improve customers’ SaaS experiences through a continuous improvement program

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for individuals with a passion for technology, customer success, and higher education. You should bring:

  • Experience in at least one area of the research landscape, such as:

– Research outputs/open access
– REF
– Research ethics/governance
– Contracts, agreements, and IP
– Postgraduate research (PGR) administration
– Research impact/reporting

  • Expertise in setting up/managing complex integrations (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of higher education (HE) administration systems, platforms, and processes
  • Confidence in working with senior project stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills, with a proactive mindset
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • A degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Analytical thinking with a curiosity-driven mindset
  • Business analysis and project management skills
  • Quick aptitude for learning complex software products
  • A genuine enthusiasm for technology and an exceptional customer experience
