About IT Services
Our IT Services team plays a pivotal role at UEL, working collaboratively with the university community to revolutionize our digital capabilities. As part of this team, you’ll be joining a dynamic environment committed to delivering innovative solutions, with much of our work taking place within a cutting-edge cloud-based ecosystem.
In this exciting opportunity, you’ll become an Audio-Visual Assistant—a key part of a multidisciplinary AV team made up of technical experts. Your work will involve delivering hands-on support for audio-visual hardware and systems across the entire university campus.
About the Role
We’re seeking a motivated and adaptable individual who is passionate about technology and eager to help maintain UEL’s Audio-Visual (AV) systems. As an AV Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to provide technical support for the university community. Your role will be essential in ensuring the Teaching and Meeting Room infrastructure operates efficiently, and you’ll be expected to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues as they arise.
Key responsibilities include supporting the operations and maintenance of AV spaces, guiding users, and ensuring prompt resolution of issues to meet service-level agreements.
About You
We’re looking for a talented and methodical professional with a genuine interest in pursuing a career in Audio-Visual and IT technology. Exceptional communication skills are essential, as you’ll be working directly with users across our campuses. Reporting to the AV Specialists, you’ll tackle daily tasks while also contributing to larger development initiatives and projects.
We especially encourage applicants who have experience or training in music production, film production, or related creative fields, as we recognize the transferable skills and fresh perspectives that these backgrounds offer.
