Exciting Opportunity: Business Systems Manager
The Heart of Yorkshire Education Group is seeking a passionate, technically skilled, and forward-thinking Business Systems Manager to join our dynamic Business Systems team. This pivotal role ensures the Group’s systems are efficient, reliable, and aligned with both current operations and future strategies.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Business Systems, you will take the lead on shaping and executing the Group’s Business Systems Strategy. Drawing on your technical expertise, leadership skills, and understanding of business processes, you will oversee system ownership, development and improvements while managing a talented team. This role will see you working collaboratively across the organisation to ensure our technology drives innovation, supports teaching and learning, and enhances business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Leadership: Support, administer, and develop the Group’s business systems to meet evolving needs.
- Team Management: Lead and nurture a high-performing Business Systems team, providing guidance and performance management.
- Efficiency Improvements: Drive process automation and optimisation using tools like Microsoft Power Automate and other workflow technologies.
- Data and Analytics: Spearhead the development of cutting-edge reporting and analytics tools, such as Power BI, to support data-driven decision-making.
- Project Delivery: Oversee the implementation of new systems and system enhancements, ensuring projects are delivered on time and align with strategic goals.
- Systems Integration: Govern and maintain secure, reliable system integrations, including APIs, web services, and data connectors.
- Collaborative Engagement: Work with stakeholders across the organisation to gather requirements, manage priorities, and ensure maximum value from business systems.
