Position Title: Data & Registry Officer
Reports To: Registrar
Contract Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (Minimum 3 Days per Week)
Location: Harrow Campus

Christ the Redeemer College (CRC) is excited to announce an opportunity for a meticulous and highly organised individual to join our team as a Data & Registry Officer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing student data, ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements, and supporting the operations of the Registry. Job Overview

As the Data & Registry Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of student records, supporting statutory reporting processes, and contributing to the smooth operation of the Registry office. You will collaborate closely with the Registry Team Lead, academic staff, and other key departments to ensure the timely delivery of crucial institutional activities, including HESA reporting, compliance monitoring, and management information generation. Additionally, you will help drive the continuous enhancement of Registry systems and processes to improve service efficiency and effectiveness.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and detailed student records and Registry-related data.
  • Assist in the preparation, validation, and submission of HESA and other regulatory returns.
  • Support B3 outcomes monitoring and performance reporting.
  • Generate routine and ad-hoc reports for managers and senior leadership teams.
  • Identify and resolve data irregularities and quality concerns.
  • Provide administrative support for student enrolment, progression, awards, graduation, and overall record management.
  • Coordinate examination processes and academic board activities within the Registry framework.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and other regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to audits, data validation efforts, and quality assurance reviews.
  • Participate in the ongoing development and improvement of Registry systems, reports, and workflows.
  • Collaborate effectively with Registry colleagues, professional services teams, and academic departments.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced administrative environment and has a passion for accuracy and process improvement.

Essential Requirements

  • A minimum of A-Level qualification or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in administration, data management, or information systems, preferably within Higher Education.
  • Proven experience working in a Registry, student records, or data administration role.
  • Strong proficiency in managing large datasets with excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with databases, student information systems, or similar platforms.
  • A strong understanding of confidentiality and GDPR regulations.
  • Outstanding organisational and communication abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver results within tight deadlines.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience in supporting HESA returns or managing regulatory reporting processes.
  • Knowledge of B3 metrics and student outcomes reporting.
  • Prior involvement in process improvement or system development initiatives.
