Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) is seeking an exceptional Director of Digital, Technology & Products to take on a critical strategic leadership role in advancing the university’s ambitious institutional vision and digital transformation agenda.
Located in the historic city of Canterbury, Kent, CCCU is a vibrant public institution with over 30,000 students and 1,500 staff. Reporting to the Chief Digital & Student Experience Officer, the Director of Digital, Technology & Products will provide strategic oversight of the university’s digital ecosystem, ensuring its services, platforms, and technological capabilities are fully aligned with institutional priorities. The role will focus on driving meaningful impact across teaching, learning, research, and professional services.
This exciting position involves leading a multi-disciplinary directorate responsible for digital services, product development, transformation initiatives, and cyber security. Key responsibilities include shaping and delivering a cohesive and modern digital operating model, ensuring systems are secure, robust, and user-centric while driving major transformation initiatives to improve efficiencies and enhance user experiences for both staff and students.
The role also encompasses overseeing the development of the university’s digital product and platform portfolio, promoting product-led, user-focused approaches underpinned by strong governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks. By collaborating with senior academic and professional services leaders, the Director will ensure digital solutions are a core enabler of CCCU’s strategic goals.
