About the Role

As a Digital Technologies Teacher, you will deliver vibrant and contemporary lessons for Years 7-10, incorporating elements of Business and Data Analytics where relevant. You’ll be part of a supportive teaching team, contributing to curriculum development and fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and digital literacy amongst students. While the majority of your workload will focus on Year 7-9 classes, the opportunity exists to extend your expertise alongside a collaborative faculty committed to innovation, inclusion, and academic excellence.

This role is available for an immediate start or flexible commencement in early June for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Digital Technologies lessons for Years 7-10.
  • Incorporate Business and Data Analytics concepts as applicable.
  • Create an inclusive classroom environment that accommodates varied learning needs.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive and timely feedback.
  • Collaborate on curriculum planning and participate in team-wide practices.

Criteria

You’ll bring:

  • Tertiary Education Qualifications in Digital Technologies, Education, or a related field.
  • Current or pending Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
  • Experience teaching Digital Technologies or related subjects at the secondary level.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum.
  • A track record of supporting diverse learners, including students with additional needs.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
