The IT & Digital (ITD) division serves as the backbone of delivering high-quality, responsive, and secure services that empower both staff and students. Our work directly impacts the learning journey and professional experiences across the University. As part of the IT Campus Support team, you will provide vital on-site IT and AV assistance, ensuring the University’s operations run smoothly.
About the Role
This senior position within the IT Campus Support team includes managing the daily operations of incidents and service requests, offering robust technical expertise to diagnose and resolve IT issues, and leading projects aligned with the University’s academic strategy. A key focus will be driving continuous improvement in our systems and processes.
About the Candidate
Key Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and presentations.
- A proven ability to collaborate effectively and deliver work within deadlines.
- A strong customer-focused approach.
Essential Experience:
- Hands-on experience managing and deploying Microsoft Windows 11 (or newer) platforms, particularly using SCCM.
- Expertise in providing 2nd line IT and AV support.
- A track record of delivering outstanding customer service in an IT setting.
- Broad familiarity with enterprise IT systems.
- Experience supporting critical and complex business projects.
- Proficiency with ITSM tools to handle incidents and service requests (e.g., FreshService).
Desirable Experience:
- A history of leading innovation and implementing changes.
- Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, and Group Policy.
