As part of our ongoing efforts to develop and enhance our infrastructure management, the Royal College of Music is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to join our IT Operations team. We are searching for a candidate who demonstrates the following qualifications and attributes:
- Proficiency in managing Microsoft 365 and server infrastructures within virtual environments, as well as expertise in associated support systems, including server monitoring, backup solutions, cybersecurity tools (e.g., endpoint protection and mail security), and network administration (e.g., switches and Wi-Fi).
- The ability to work independently on key responsibilities, combined with a collaborative approach and a commitment to sharing knowledge with colleagues.
- Resilience and adaptability, with strong prioritisation and logical decision-making skills even in high-pressure environments.
- A strong focus on delivering quality customer service, alongside effective communication and stakeholder management.
