Job Description:
The London School of Commerce (LSC), one of the most esteemed and extensive education providers in the United Kingdom, operates campuses across multiple international locations. LSC is currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our Examinations Department at the London campus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create examination timetables, seating plans, and room allocations, as well as supervise examinations through invigilation.
- Support investigations of academic misconduct, prepare necessary documentation, and maintain accurate records.
- Process student marks and progression paths, ensuring timely data entry.
- Update the students’ portal with relevant examination-related information.
- Communicate with academic staff, invigilators, and students regarding assessment arrangements.
- Generate statistical reports and examination data for management and external stakeholders.
- Track progress on marking and moderation of assessments to ensure deadlines are met.
- Aid in preparations for various exam boards.
- Continuously assess and improve examination administration processes for efficiency.
- Provide assistance with other general administrative tasks within the School.
Essential Skills and Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience managing large volumes of data with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, functions (e.g., VLOOKUP), filtering/sorting, and conditional formatting.
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as Examinations Officer or examinations administration within an educational institution, is desirable.
Work Location:
This is an in-office, full-time role requiring attendance at the London campus five days a week (not a hybrid position).
