What You’ll Do
- Prepare and set up teaching rooms, meeting spaces, and event areas before sessions begin.
- Oversee incoming deliveries, ensuring prompt logging and distribution.
- Coordinate contractor and visitor access, including parking arrangements and on-site supervision.
- Conduct regular campus walkthroughs to identify maintenance requirements and ensure issues are reported.
- Manage stock levels for essential campus supplies such as stationery, vending items, and other consumables.
- Keep communal areas, kitchens, and shared spaces clean, neat, and presentable.
- Provide first-line support for basic IT and AV troubleshooting in teaching rooms and common areas.
- Assist with the setup, movement, and reconnection of IT equipment including computers, printers, and display screens.
- Support campus health and safety checks, including fire safety measures and Legionella compliance.
- Help with the planning and execution of major campus events and student inductions.
- Take ownership of campus operational responsibilities during your assigned shift, including one mandatory weekend day per week.

On-site, five days per week, including one mandatory weekend day.

About You
We’re seeking someone who is proactive, organized, and motivated, with experience in a facilities, operations, or campus support capacity. You’ll feel confident working with technology and be ready to provide basic IT and AV support as needed.
- You are a clear communicator with a professional demeanor and a strong commitment to delivering an exceptional experience for students and staff.
- Reliable and punctual, you understand that the successful functioning of the campus depends on your presence and readiness.
- A basic understanding of workplace health and safety practices is essential. Prior experience in higher education or professional services is a plus, as is first aid or fire warden certification.
