People & Culture Business Partner (Data & Project Management)

Salary: Grade 6, £46,474 – £51,459 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting)

Central is excited to recruit a People & Culture Business Partner (Data & Project Management) to play a key role in enhancing our people data capabilities, optimizing our HRIS systems, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality People & Culture (P&C) services throughout the School.
As part of a small, dynamic, and collaborative P&C team, you will take the lead in ensuring the development, accuracy, and optimization of our HR data and systems. This includes delivering reliable and insightful reports using the HRIS, managing statutory reporting requirements (e.g., HESA, UCEA, Gender Pay Gap, Ethnicity Pay Gap), maintaining data governance, and overseeing project management for HRIS development and upgrades.
Beyond this, you’ll act as a trusted Business Partner to departments across the organization, working closely with colleagues on complex employee relations cases while also contributing to policy development. What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a candidate who brings:
- Significant experience managing complex employee relations cases.
- Expertise in HRIS, data governance, and analytics.
- Proven experience producing statutory data returns (such as HESA, UCEA, and pay gap reports).
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
- A strong understanding of employment law.
- The ability to translate complex datasets into accessible and actionable insights.
- Confidence in collaborating with diverse teams across academic and professional services settings.
