We are currently recruiting a Digitalisation Project Engineer who shares our passion for innovation and solving industrial and societal challenges by applying advanced knowledge and skills.

Your Impact as a Digitalisation Project Engineer

Joining our team means being part of a groundbreaking initiative to deliver advanced manufacturing solutions. You’ll leverage your expertise to support AMIC’s advanced manufacturing efforts, contributing directly to the establishment of our state-of-the-art “Factory of the Future” facility.

Working closely with senior engineers, academia, technology providers, national technology centres, and industry partners, you’ll lead key projects that will drive innovation. You’ll apply your knowledge of cutting-edge digital technologies such as software, hardware, and the latest manufacturing practices to meet industry needs while addressing broader societal challenges.

About You

We’re looking for talent that aligns with the following essential criteria. For your application to be successful, clearly demonstrate how you meet the requirements below:

Essential Criteria:

  • Education & Experience:

– Honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering, science, or related discipline.
– OR a minimum of HND in a similar discipline accompanied by significant and relevant recent industrial experience.

  • Knowledge & Expertise in One or More of the Following Areas:

– Embedded/Edge/Sensor technologies
– Cyber security
– Virtualisation/Infrastructure/Networking
– AI (applicable to manufacturing use cases)
– Manufacturing Software Systems
– Digital Twin Technologies
– Cloud technologies, including cloud databases, data analytics, and data visualization

  • Relevant Industry Experience:

– Demonstrated expertise in the manufacturing domain, proven through relevant industry experience or projects.

  • Project Delivery:

– Experience utilizing research/industrial tools and techniques to deliver high-quality projects and technical reports.
– Proven ability to deliver projects within budget and to agreed deadlines.
