We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Registry Team Leader – Apprenticeships Data and Operations to join the Centre for Apprenticeships, Work-based Learning and Skills. In this role, you will oversee the central apprenticeships data and operations functions, ensuring compliance with regulations and efficient operations across the University’s apprenticeships provision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of apprenticeship data, including statutory submissions, funding reconciliation, and performance reporting.
- Ensure full compliance with Department for Education (DfE) funding regulations, requirements, and the Apprenticeship Accountability Framework to support the delivery of high-quality apprentice programs.
- Provide strategic operational direction while managing and developing the central apprenticeships team.
- Collaborate effectively with both academic and professional services staff to maintain robust processes and seamless data flows.
- Lead on compliance activity and support all DfE audits and related requirements.
About You:
We are looking for an individual with:
- Demonstrable experience in apprenticeship data management, including overseeing Individualised Learner Record (ILR) submissions and engagement with audit processes.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to confidently lead compliance-related activities.
- A proven track record of supporting DfE audits and ensuring institutional confidence in performance and funding assurance.
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
