About Us:
Payroll & Pensions Services at King’s College London is a vital component of Financial Services, dedicated to ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of payroll for a diverse and sizeable workforce. Each month, the team diligently processes payments for over 11,000 staff while managing complex pension arrangements across multiple schemes, including NHS, USS, and SAUL.

Collaborating closely with HR, Finance, and various university departments, the team contributes significantly to maintaining data integrity, supporting colleagues, and enhancing processes to meet the evolving needs of this dynamic institution. About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and adaptable individual who embodies resilience, positivity, and a strong customer-first mindset. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing and implementing multiple projects, including Workforce Management initiatives and leveraging King’s Agile Working tool. Your focus will be on delivering end-to-end implementations of defined projects, with an emphasis on payroll process improvements and the transformation of payroll technologies. Reporting directly to the Payroll Management team, you will contribute to advancing the efficiency and effectiveness of payroll operations.

Key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining project plans, designing and deploying procedures that align with the organization’s payroll objectives, and managing all project and change-related activities. You will be responsible for coordinating resource planning, identifying capacity constraints, and taking corrective actions as needed to ensure successful delivery of the plan.

This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) offered as a fixed-term contract until July 2028
