We are looking for experienced Business Analysts at both Business Analyst and Senior Business Analyst levels to join the Strategic Projects Office within the PPSC. These are permanent roles that play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering high-priority strategic projects and programmes aligned with the University’s Strategy.
Whether you are contributing at the practitioner level or offering strategic guidance, you will leverage your business analysis expertise to enable the University to make informed decisions, achieve measurable benefits, mitigate risks, and implement sustainable change.
The Roles
As part of the Business Analysis team, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the University to support the scoping, analysis, and delivery of key programmes and projects. Your efforts will underpin effective governance, resource allocation, risk management, and benefits realisation.
Both roles will initially focus on high-priority strategic programmes involving related initiatives that require comprehensive discovery efforts to identify solutions for increasing efficiency and capacity within the organisation.
Senior Business Analyst Role – Grade 8
In this role, you will take on a strategic leadership position and be responsible for:
- Engaging directly with University Executive Board members, strategic sponsors, senior project leads, and Project Board members.
- Leading business analysis within complex strategic programmes, providing clarity, shaping options, and delivering evidence-based recommendations.
- Translating the University’s strategy into practical, achievable outcomes.
- Advising senior leaders on feasibility, risks, expected impact, and potential benefits of initiatives.
- Driving the planning and ensuring the quality of business analysis deliverables across the programme.
- Mentoring, supporting, and advising less experienced Business Analysts, contributing to the development of business analysis capabilities across the organisation.
- Providing governance boards with high-quality analysis, insights, and documentation.
At this level, the Senior Business Analyst will not simply capture requirements but will actively contribute to shaping institution-wide decisions and fostering long-term transformation efforts.
