We are excited to announce a 1-year fixed-term opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to lead a vital component of the University’s transformational Halo CRM programme.


About the Role

As Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of the data workstream for the University’s Halo CRM programme. This ambitious and fast-paced initiative employs Microsoft Dynamics CRM to revolutionize how the University engages and manages its community.

The Halo platform will support the entire student and alumni lifecycle, strengthening relationships across the University while improving collaboration, breaking down silos, streamlining operations, and eliminating digital barriers. It will serve central functions alongside departments and colleges, providing a 360-degree view of our communities—students, alumni, staff, researchers, collaborators, and visitors—and creating a true Single Version of the Truth.

In this role, you will lead critical data migration, cleansing, mapping, and validation activities, working alongside technical teams and implementation partners. By defining and managing delivery plans, dependencies, milestones, and risks, you will ensure that data delivery aligns with the highest quality standards.

You will report directly to the Halo Programme Manager and collaborate closely with University stakeholders, workstream delivery managers, technical teams, and external partners.

Please note: This role requires a minimum of two days per week on-site at our office in central Oxford.


About You

We’re searching for an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager with the following expertise:

  • Proven Project Delivery: Demonstrable experience delivering large-scale projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Data-Centric Expertise: Strong background in data migration, cleansing, mapping, and validation within similar projects.
  • Leadership in Complex Environments: Proven ability to manage large-scale data migrations and integrations, ideally within CRM or enterprise platforms.
  • CRM Programme Experience: Prior experience in significant CRM programmes, particularly Microsoft Dynamics, is an advantage.
  • Strategic Planning Skills: Skilled in estimating, financial forecasting, and scheduling, especially in complex, fast-moving environments.
  • Risk & Compliance Know-How: Adept at risk identification and mitigation, with a deep understanding of data governance, compliance, and security (e.g., GDPR).
  • Documentation Standards: Experience maintaining clear and auditable documentation for data-related activities.
  • Exceptional Communication: Outstanding communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, tailored for technical and non-technical audiences, including senior stakeholders.
