As a Teaching Assistant at the University of Limerick, you will be employed under a training contract for a fixed duration of 10 months. This contract may be renewed for one additional term of up to 10 months, subject to eligibility. Candidates who have already completed two Teaching Assistant contracts are not eligible to apply.

Closing Date
The deadline for applications is Friday, 19th June 2026. Completed online applications must be submitted no later than 12:00 noon (Irish Standard Time) on the closing date.

Work Authorisation
Applicants must confirm their legal entitlement to work and reside in Ireland at the time of application. If you are not a citizen of the European Economic Area (EEA) and indicate that you are legally eligible to work and live in Ireland, you are required to upload proof of your current Visa and Work Permit in the attachments section of the application form. Failure to provide this documentation will result in your application being ineligible for consideration.
