About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Trial Coordinator to join the Cancer Research UK Cancer Prevention Trials Unit (CPTU) at Queen Mary University of London. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that specializes in designing and managing large-scale trials focused on cancer screening, prevention, and early diagnosis. The CPTU conducts cutting-edge research involving complex, multi-centre studies with diverse populations, frequently delivered using decentralised models.

As a Trial Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Trial Manager and study team to ensure the smooth coordination and delivery of clinical studies. We are looking for an organized individual with strong attention to detail who is eager to contribute to impactful research that shapes public health and clinical practices.

About You
In this role, you will help manage the day-to-day operations of clinical trials, including:

  • Coordinating site setup and liaising with clinicians, sites, and vendors.
  • Supporting ethics submissions, regulatory amendments, and trial monitoring.
  • Overseeing logistics for screening and clinic activities, lab supplies, and shipments.
  • Assisting in vendor oversight and contributing to data management and coordination.

This role is ideal for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented professional with strong organizational and communication skills. Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders, you will help ensure the successful implementation of high-quality clinical trials.

As part of CCSPED, the Cancer Prevention Trials Unit (CPTU) spearheads innovative research aimed at reducing cancer incidence and improving early detection outcomes.
